With family consent, we also accept referrals from carers, GP’s, Schools, Allied Health Professionals, etc. -
While the structure of play therapy sessions can vary depending on the unique needs of the child, there's generally a common process that's followed;
- Initial intake & assessment sessions
- Child Play Therapy Weekly Sessions x 5
- Parent/Carer update
- Child Play Therapy Weekly Sessions x 5
- Parent Carer update.
Our play therapists are dedicated to working closely with your family to ensure that your child's progress is closely monitored and reviewed throughout the therapeutic process. -
Early Intervention Sessions are generally 45 minutes long.
Fees may be Privately Self-Funded.
We also offer our services to Self-managed or Plan Managed NDIS Participants.
Inspiring Play Early Intervention Services can be accessed under the following NDIS line items:
Early Intervention Supports (0 to 6 years) Capacity Building- Improved Daily Living
Capacity Building Supports (ages 7 to 10 years) Capacity Building- Improved Daily Living

Yes. Participants who have self-managed or plan managed NDIS Plans can access early intervention support with our Early Childhood Professionals and Play Therapists.
Inspiring Play Early Intervention Services can be accessed under the following NDIS line items:
Early Intervention Supports (0 to 6 years)
Capacity Building- Improved Daily Living
Early Childhood Supports- Early Childhood Professional
Capacity Building Supports (ages 7 to 10 years)
Capacity Building- Improved Daily Living
Assessment Recommendation Therapy or Training- Other Professional -
Inspiring Play requires 48 hours notice for appointment cancellations.
Due to the ongoing structure and demand for our services, rescheduling of appointments at short notice is unavailable at this time.
Please note cancellation fees apply. -
Inspiring Play offers appointment times Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:30.
We offer both in clinic and mobile services during these times.
